Rougarou might just be the names of a new haunt. Kings Island and Cedar Point are both in the middle of building new structures for an indoor haunt. At KI next to the Beast, and at CP next to Gatekeeper. Remember Fury was trademarked before it became a Cedar Fair haunt (not sure if the one at Carowinds is the only "Fury" maze).

Also Knott's is building what appears to be a new dark ride in their former Kingdom of Dinosaurs (or something like that) building. And Cedar Point has been teasing their 2015 attraction since Christmas. Elsewhere in the chain, Valleyfair has some new stakes in the ground near their water park. Just pointing out that there are three new trademarks not yet in use, counting the suspended Centurion, and at least six notable construction projects going on across the chain right now.

Rougarou = new haunt mazes across Cedar Fair, starting at KI, CP, and here maybe? (replacing Asylum or SSC)
Fury 325 I have no idea. Iv'e been thinking it is the backup name if they don't use the suspended Centurion for our new giga monster.

One question, have they used the "Amusement Dark" trademark yet?

I doubt that Rougarou will be used for a haunt because like I said in an earlier post, Cedar Fair does not normally trademark names for Halloween attractions. Rougarou will most likely be a ride.

I'm not even living NEAR Carowinds now. But as an NC native, I grew up going there and to SFoG. Kings Island or Kentucky Kingdom are my home parks now. I'm still just in shock and trying to process in my mind that Carowinds is getting a Giga coaster most likely from B&M. That's just insane to me! I really really hope it's NOT Intamin though. I don't think I305 is an attractive coaster at all IMHO. MF as Cedar Point is, but I can't explain it - I've just never liked the looks of I305. I mean, it doesn't even have any camel backs after the first drop. It's like the only big drop you get is the first drop, and the rest of the ride you're almost at ground level - granted it's super fast and curvy, but no big drops after the first. I HATE that about 1305. I know it's not likely, but if it does happen to be Intamin, I hope it looks more like MF than I305

We're all in shock Mark. After years of being in the shadows, Carowinds is now coming to the forefront. 305 is not a pretty coaster, but unlike Intimidator, the ride is unique. It's those things that you mentioned that makes the ride special. The low to the ground high speed direction changes are very intense. Intimidator at Carowinds is not a bad coaster and would be number one in the world if it was the first of it's siblings. But as fate would have it, it is more than a decade behind Apollo, which delivers a similar ride. i don't know if you remember, but folk were raving about Apollo when it opened, and it topped many lists. This is why many enthusiast complain about B&M mega coasters. There is a feeling of been there, done that. Intamins on the other hand are rather unique. I personally hope our new coaster is more like 305. We can walk across the park to Intimidator for the hills.

Leviathan has airtime hills. I hope this one at least does too! I'm a huge fan of multiple big drops.

I feel like those turns can't all be low to the ground. One or two must be camelbacks that curve on the ascent and descent. Also, the best moment to me on Leviathan was the elongated low curving airtime hill after the first turn.

Then ride Intimidator...from the plans the new coaster looks great...it will have a different pace and feel from intimidator and make one awesome gate statment....can't wait to spot it that first time from the interstate lol

The NoLimits video someone posted on here a few days ago is really close to what I think it'll end up being based on what I've seen. Now... I haven't seen anything other than a flat view of it, but based on that view I'm thinking it's gonna be a B&M version of I305 with a few hills but mostly low, fast, turns and curves.

I know one thing, there'll be a lot of geeks there opening weekend next year...

Yep. I know for a fact that the park has seen all the sketches that have been posted on this site. They very well could be making those comments to let us get into our own heads, lol!

Maybe I shouldn't have done those concepts. If this is a teaser "Rome wasn't built in a day", then it is a really good one. Something to really get us off track and onto something completely different. Such a troll But all in good fun
