That would be a great hit with the public, however I really don't see it happening, considering we already have a sports/racing themed coaster. I think a 330 foot coaster named Centurion would do well.

If the load is classified as an oversize load it will have to be transported during the day. It is illegal to drive with an oversize load after sundown.

...or before sunrise. ...or on Sundays. ...or from noon on the weekday before until noon on the weekday after the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

With that being said, I'm not aware of any standard loads of coaster track that qualify as an oversize load. An oversize load can only be a single piece of track. Two or more track pieces side by side or end to end that would exceed height/width/weight limits don't qualify for an oversize load and won't be granted a permit or allowed to travel on NC roads. It can only be for a single piece of track or single item.

Using the calculations of the blueprints and Leviathan's lift on Google Maps at the same zoom, also assuming the drop on Fury/Centurion is the same steepness as Leviathan's drop, the new attraction will be 325-335 feet high. My exact number was 328.8 feet, however we do not know the steepness of the drop so and exact right answer is impossible.

I never thought to do that. Very interesting.

Where'd the rumor of a new log flume come from? Tons of people on fb (gp) are talking about it lately.

I noticed that as well. Perhaps they know something we don't :?

I log flume would not be a bad addition for next year. In fact, a nice lightly termed log ride in a mountain would be a nice addition. It could possibly go in the space behind the Cobra bathrooms. The mountain could also house a trio tech dark ride inside.
