I never got to ride Shoot The Rapids last week because of mechanical issues, so that kind of leads me to believe that they are unreliable. I bet its a fun ride though.

I'm betting the odds are very good. Footers for Intimidator started showing up in early August, the announcement was in late August, track started showing up in early September and supports/track was erected in spots in mid to late September. I would imagine that by the end of the season we "might" have most (if not all) of the lift hill in place.

There was track at the park before the announcement. They had a couple pieces of track at the announcement. Wouldn't surprise me if they don't display some at the announcement.Image

I'm guessing that since all the Giga coaster will be right beside Hurler it will attract way more people to the Thrill Zone. Okay, so combined with that and the re-tracking of Hurler, I imagine it being a more popular attraction next year. (Just take off the trims). Think about it. Hurler may have some long lines next year.

I think it's awesome that the park will be so much more balanced now. The nighthawk/intimidator half is entirely too crowded. Thrill zone died years ago. Really hoping for a Roman theme. Next they need to put a Top spin where those huge games are in thrill zone that no one plays by the scream weaver, or over by where vortex photo used to be and the big open fountain is. It would be a huge hit.

Here is a couple questions I am curious about.

1. Where do you think the station will be? On the brake side or Lift side?

2. How will they design the queue line? Besides the fact it will wind back to the entrance.

I personally did not think the coaster would come as far up Hurler as the overlay shows which makes for a little tighter area. I just thought the old go cart track would be the queue line. Hmm...

Hahahaha the good old "kings" english...now remember, you said 4 long years ago the next time "that track" shows up in the park you're gonna join in on the fun! A "dual unloading" so to speak!!

Where'd the rumor of a new log flume come from? Tons of people on fb (gp) are talking about it lately.

Where are you seeing people talking about a flume ride? What site?
