General Carowinds discussion

Alright enough of the tomfoolery.

Everyone knows that the hints thus far have led to a Roman theme. But no one has pointed out exactly what the ruins were. It's the Roman Forum. For the kids who haven't taken a history class yet it was basically the "downtown" of Ancient Rome. It's where all the important and governmental buildings were.

I wonder if this is a clue towards the new front gate rather than the coaster/Thrill Zone area. Just something interesting to think about.

Some have friends or family who work in maintenance or other full time areas. I'd say about 1% of the seasonal employees know. Some are just smart enough to keep their mouths shut.

I'll be honest. When I heard in advance I communicated that info with family, friends and a select few co-workers.

Please enlighten us :D

BUT then turn around and basically call yourself a smart not buy saying you did just that by telling everyone you basically know. This can't be real life hahaha...so cameron, since you've basically told the world, tell me...what is the park getting next year???

Exactly what are you guys not getting about my comment lol

At no point did I say anything about the 2015 attraction. I was responding to someone's comment about seasonal park employees not knowing anything.

I happened to be a seasonal employee and had prior knowledge of future attractions. Some that never left the drawing board as well.

I thought the same thing.

After spending the day at Carowinds, Jay hit it right on the head. The Rome theme is NOT for the coaster. The blueprints are NOT for the coaster. That is a fact. The coaster will NOT be a clone to Leviathan. The station footers do NOT mirror that ride. We are all going to be blown away by the announcement.

We ARE being played. I know I will hear crap for this post but at least I spoke my words and put them on record. Only advice I will give is we better start looking for WHITE track that is built for speed.

Jarsh is being smart by being quiet. Plus he is probably laughing hard.

tomfoolery you say? Love it, great word.

I have always, in the back of my head, been thinking of the Roman scheme as a mere suggestion of the future of the entire park. As Jay said where the ruins are. With all the news, wordings, statements that are easily found by simple searches it appears to me they are talking about Carowinds being the HUB of entertainment in the South.

In just what they have done already this year with the food choices and locations, and finally something being done about parking, working on something big for 2015, painting etc. I can finally see Carowinds becoming a major player in the industry. Sure it may be 5 - 10 more years but I am stoked to see C.F. stoked about Carowinds.

You can hem and haw all you want about who knows what and who doesn't. You can argue until the pixels blur into a flat line. It's all good banter but I for one can't wait to see the Gladiators in action.

Speaking from experience....
Ask the seasonal employee who leaked plans to remove Cyclone after the 2006 want happened to his job....
Release true information on the internet and your job is gone, release all the false information you make up and they just tell ya to be careful. Seasonal employees generally only know when they are sticking their nose where it doesnt belong.

Thank you! My point was proven that very few seasonal employees do know what's going on and yes It's because I go where I'm not supposed to and I knew a few people lol. Take some risk in life. If you loose your job it's not biggie. I mean, come on. It's just Carowinds. lol.

I was also very carful who I shared info with. This is the last place I'd go blabbing.

I usually just sit around here in silence just laughing but for once I had a point to make and I did. End of discussion.

Have fun guys. It's not all as serious as some make it out to be on here.

It might just be Carowinds but your job record will follow you through your life. I hope "Cameron" isn't your real name....
It didn't take Carowinds long to connect "RollerNut" (now RollerBee) to my real name(Chris). Oh and while I was working at Carowinds, I used fake names or nicknames on my site (Carowinds Zone).
Lee Coaster
Opie!
RC!
RollerNut
ThunderFun

They still figured it out, those who know ane want to remain in good standing with Carowinds will always keep their shut.

These friends asked me to show the the blueprint posted everywhere. Their response was they weren't concerned because they were wrong.

After seeing the HW reveal tonight maybe we are lined up for a B&M Giga launch?
