I think it looks great Tarheel. (this coming from an artist and future architect)
I love how you have the Centurion in the background. Like how I have centurions on the station. Speaking of which, I will create a video of my station concept today and upload it. Then I will share it here for you guys.

I said it would be Highly roman themed. Unfortunately, I don't believe that Cedar fair would do something like this. *sad face*

Awesome work, FamousAmos! It looks great!

I agree with you that this seems like too much theming for CF, primarily because of the cost. Having been to Rome, what would make it more realistic would be more ruins. Parts of the walls should be in ruins with random pillars, etc., partially erected with parts of them lying around.

I'm still holding hope that it is not Centurion after all and something that fits a Carolinas theme.

I wanted to add ruins to it, but it was a lot of extra work to do so. The reason why it's so large, is that some buildings in Rome are very large, and I wanted to convey that feeling here. But C.F. won't do something like this. I just know they won't.

Now, I would also agree with you in that I hope this giga resurrects the Carolina theme.

Yeah, like someone else said in another thread, the biggest reason CF won't do something like this is because it would cost too much. Most of us could offer suggestions on what to do with the extra 20+ mil that they would save by not going all out on a station like this. I'll be happy to go through stations like this at Disney and Universal where their operating budget is much different.

While theming to this extent is a little to extravagant for CF, The station of Leviathan is also elegant in it's own form, if CF used cheap materials to fabricate the look of stone and marble than it might be possible. I'm not saying that we need something in equivalence to the Dueling Dragons (Dragon Challenge) station, but I do expect more this year than: gates, a sheet metal roof, and four support columns!

Carowinds said that the coaster would cost $30 million, but didn't some of the city council members estimate it to be $33 million? Maybe that extra $3 million is for the station? Just a thought
