I think Centurion is a freakin awesome name, especially compared to Fury325 or an other registered alternatives. Just "Fury" wouldn't be bad, but those numbers literally kill my enthusiasm. Centurion evokes largeness, greatness, power, endurance, etc with me. And I think it would be a great name for any coaster.

And it doesn't have to be themed to rome (nor does the surrounding area). Cobra isn't in Snake Zone, Afterburn isn't in Lil' Airforce-ville, Intimidator isn't in Racing Central. So why can't we just have a stand alone coaster with a really cool name? Like all the times before, just with loose themeing.

In 2010, when KD and Carowinds built intimidators, why .............WHY did they call them BOTH "Intimidator"??

It's because of that I fear the name of the coaster will be called FURY 325. But there is a slight difference. There isn't another coaster named FURY opening, so then why would it be called FURY 325, and not just Fury?

Fury 325=Awful

I just hope that whatever it's called, there's not another one called the same thing like all the Goliaths out there

When Intimidator first debuted I heard tons of people referring to it as "Intermidator" and other strange names. I have a feeling this is going to happen again if the ride is called Centurion. It's going to be mispronunciation galore.

Century ON - seems simple enough of a pronunciation.........But yea, if people can't even get the name Intimidator right, dear God.

It would be funny if the "centur" in Centurion is like the millennium in millennium force.

I live local, to be honest... when I heard that name, the first thing I thought was "Um... nobody can pronounce it".

When I told my brother the name, the first thing he said was "Hard to pronounce".

My .02, I always pronounced it "Scent Your IE Ahn"

I wonder, if they've figured out, if it even matters?

1. Maybe if some people CANT pronounce it, it doesn't even matter
2. Maybe if people can't pronounce it, it does matter, and they talk about it less
3. Maybe if people can't pronounce it, it actually makes it stand out in people's mind more since it's a weird word to them.

Who knows?
