General Carowinds discussion

Red track? Lmfao. Can lighting strike twice? Two intimidators! Carowinds is cornering the market on red coasters.

Btw this could be track for one of the polar coasters being built.

Maybe their gonna extend intimidator to go under gate and new coaster go over it? Lol this is fun. Can we do this all night?

Jarsh and Edwardo have absolutely no reason to lie publicly to the whole forum. If they say its B&M, then its B&M. If its not, forever will their credibility be damaged

aww cmon be nice Jay. Was posting through phone, I tried to edit but it wasnt saving the post for whatever reason. Its coaster time again at carowinds, posting without thinking is a tradition.

Wormy did u adjust the color in this photo? If anyone wanted to know what a carolina blue sky was, this is it.

Welcome to the forum. If track is indeed on the way here, you can expect one crazy day here tommorrow.

Now this is indeed a major significant development if reports are accurate. Because coming up I-26 from Charleston, SC means overseas track on its way to I-77 in Columbia. Then up to Charlotte. Now being shipped from overseas leads to speculation towards Intamin. But most preliminary reports would suggest B&M, although unconfirmed. Perhaps this coaster project was too large for the Ohio plant, so they contracted an overseas manufacturer for B&M. And possibly someone will snap some pics along the route somewhere. But it looks like the track should arrive at Carowinds in the middle of the night if these reports are correct. Folks near Rock Hill and Charlotte be on the lookout.

If true, I'm sure they slowed way down coming through Columbia. There's major road expansion going on at the intersection of 77 and 26 that spans all the way to Dixie, which is at least 25 miles before 77 of 1 lane traffic.

Think I'll drive down there right now. Lol

Very true. Did not think about that. Could be for Kings Dominion, Great Adventure up I-95 north, or a Florida park down I-95 south to cut over to Orlando. Or Busch Gardens Tampa. But have not heard of these parks plans. I guess we'll soon find out.
