And the best thing about it, as far as I could tell, No TRIMS!!! It will keep it's speed throughout the entire ride. We are sometimes complaining about trims, and I couldn't agree more, but we won't have to worry about that on this one. Unless B&M makes a change and decides to add trims, but I doubt that. I am just happy :)

I would of loved to ride this on Timmy Trains and have Timmy have Fury Trains. Overall love the look and feel of the ride and cant wait to be there opening day or whenever they decide to have it ready

Should we start a "Fury325 Construction" discussion so as time goes on we can post picture of the progress as some of us make trips to the park? I know there was one with Intimidator and I loved that I was able to watch the progress from start to finish.

man, jonathan and some of the other guys carowinds knows well. is there any way u can beg carowinds to get a better cam. How can we watch the construction of the biggest investment in carowinds history through a beer goggle cam?

Since this ride has 3 trains and no mcbr, will they have to wait for the 3rd train to get back to the brake run before another train is dispatched? Or since the lift hill takes about 1 - 1.5 minutes to get up the lift, can they send a train up the lift and if anything happens to that third train on the course, the lift can stop? So in a more simple form, can the lift be used as the mid course?

The lift is a separate block so one train can be on the lift while another is on the course.

I'm sure they are aware of it, so maybe they will replace it at some point.

It was great to meet everyone at the media announcement. I was super busy so I apologize in advance for those that didn't get a chance to introduce themselves to me, I was on a deadline with getting information out to others. I will see everyone soon!

Ok...my thoughts, oberservations and points about the coaster and the announcement event day as a whole.

-the park DOESN'T take lightly official information, being put out publically...you know...screenshots and such, by anyone but them period! They will find you...and kill you...no matter how much anyone tries to dress it up as "speculation"...

-the people at carowinds are as passionate about us as they are their jobs. We are the best publicity the park can get for free, buzz media!

-talking to the park officials is like talking to a friend. They are very approachable and willing to listen and they welcome your feedback and thoughts

-the coaster is AMAZING! Who knew a park that was getting rides like a used boomerang and a yoyo swing would be home of the tallest "traditional" coaster in the world and the two tallest beemers in the US!

-the color scheme is and quite unique to carowinds.

-if the food they was being offered today is what will be on the menu next year, you guys are in for a treat!

-the entrance plaza will be 9 sprawling acres of beautiful well manicured land.

-the park does focus groups...most, if not, all the changes are the park responding to what WE want.

-fury 325 was, in fact, originally planned to be a launched 300ft wing rider, but I talked the park out of it...hahaha.

-lastly, it was nice meeting new faces and catching up with old ones. See...I'm not that bad in person

Final notes, I want to send a huge thanks to the folks at the park for the invite and to Julie and John for being so hospitable. I know I may have come at you guys with some of the craziest questions and suggestions (I really want to see that cedar fair park pre iew center showing off the other parks in the chain)! Many of you don't know I have been "bugging" carowinds since I was a pre-teen/teenager starting with Patsy Lahommedieu who use to send me all types of media junkets and VHS pov videos that I had to UPS back haha. Carowinds, hands down, has the best public relations staff continuously over the years. I am proud to consider csrowinds my home park and will continue upselling the park to my friends family and strangers alike!

Again, thanks...
