ok I am still a little confused as to what all the dirt is for, seems like that area is suppose to be future parking lot, no?

I haven't been to the park this season at all, and I doubt I'll go later, and that's why I don't think I'll be able to ride Fury next year. All this waiting for the ride and it took me this long to realize I won't be able to ride it.

I've probably taken thousands of pictures of the park over the decades, but zero specifically of and from the overhead walk. But now that they will be tearing it all down, it will be a good place to commemorate what use to be. Plus, it made me recall those old day memories from '73-'75. It's sorta sentimental in that as a kid, I always thought it was cool to be able to walk above the incoming cars. I use to say "You can't do that at Six Flags". Sometimes I would stand there for a second and watch the cars but was typically more concerned about getting inside no doubt. Yep, I know. It's just a freakin toll plaza. Well, for some that's all it is, but for me it's still part of the parks unique history that made it different.
