LOL - HELL NO!

That long in any park is torture. I haven't decided when I'll leave the park yet but if I make it up there, I'll be at the Comfort Inn so I'll prolly make a few trips back and forth to relax some.

Okay, thanks for clarifying that info. I plan on attending after I purchase an ACE membership. There's so many things going on at the moment, it's hard to keep up with this stuff (for me anyway)
Thanks again :)

I was curious if a lot of people are planning to attend this event. It looks like a good time and was considering getting an ACE membership and going. For those that are going that have done this event before is it family friendly or would you suggest going solo?

We are going to be joining ACE but I don't think we will be able to make this event because of my Son's soccer games on Saturday morning thru the fall.

It means we all get in line with the rest of the patrons and fill a train or two. Or, like last year, we broke from the main group and informally took over the Woodstock express and flyers.

I would say it depends on if you have younger kids or not. Its a REALLY long day in the park, if you arent staying at a hotel or dont live near by. I always attend the Carowinds events. Last year we stayed at the campground, and of course it rained.... Also keep in mind this is "SCarolina" coaster classic so we get tours of the haunts and meet the scaracters backstage so if you kids get scared easy, I would say fly solo, or of course stay close by and take them back to stay with someone. I plan on camping again this year as I enjoyed it last year, despite the rain. Hope this helps a little...

FYI: The mail-in postmarking deadline for this event is ONE week from today. Mail in registrations need to be postmarked by September 10 in order to register. If you prefer online registration, you've got a week and a few more days.

I don't have a season pass for this year so the fees are a lil out of reach at the moment, but with my new ACE membership ( thanks you-know-who   ) I will definitely be there next year!

There are lots more ACE events throughout the year at other regional parks that hopefully you can attend.
