So, you spend over 2 hours on the interstate. You turn a curve and see this:

It's a great sight and gets me all excited.

Now THAT is a beautiful sight! Oh I can't wait to come down the interstate one morning next year and see this! It gives me chills just thinking about it.

I tried to do the best I could on that photo. You know what it's like. To drive from the north down 77 and, all of a sudden, see Carowinds in the distance. That's a sight that no one will ever forget. And to think, it will be much different next season. What a sight that will be. As of now, Timmy is the skyline along with windseeker, ripcord, and skytower. But they will all soon be joined by something much greater.

Good thing I'm not the one who came up with that nick name. For some reason, it sticks. For me anyway. That picture, is that when Intimidator was being constructed?

Yea its in a interesting spot. I-305 has the same thing the picture is right at the end before the brakes I think the photo will be more toward the middle here, maybe even before going under the bridge. I really think there will be more than one photo spot though...

I think the location of the camera was intentional, since the ride is racing themed, I think they are going going for a "photo finish!"

Thanks again Wormy for the great photos. I grabbed 13 of them and added them to the Fury 325 construction album on the rcdb FB page. Of course I gave you and CC proper credit. Amazing how things have died around here soon after the big announcement. I am sure it will pick up again when we go vertical.
