I am guessing the height is the main focus (since it is in the name) but they decided if they were already breaking 1 record, why not break 3? :)

That's a sight that no one will ever forget. And to think, it will be much different next season. What a sight that will be. As of now, Timmy is the skyline along with windseeker, ripcord, and skytower. But they will all soon be joined by something much greater.

That is a great picture you created, and that will definitely be a great dramatic view coming down 77. Right now, Intimidator and the Skytower are impressive, along with Windseeker. But Fury will certainly dominate at 325 feet. Also, there is a dramatic view from the parking lot at Carolina Place Mall where you see Intimidator rise above the trees. And Fury 325 will definitely be even more impressive. As seen from the parking lot between Belk and Macy's.

I have a question.

In one of the press releases it mentions that a portion of the turnaround will be 91 degress.
Since that's over 90 degress would that mean Fury325 features a half-inversion? Since it doesn't completely go upside down?

No, that turnaround is considered an overbanked curve.

I believe it would need to be 180 degrees at least to be considered half an inversion.

Could you post a link back to the page with those photos?

We don't like it when things from here are posted uncredited on other sites, so let's try to make sure we link back to the source for stuff like that so we aren't guilty of doing the same thing.
