Thanks for the pictures. I can see that the station design is following the station concept in the animation. I love the idea of exiting the ride and going immediately into the gift shop. It doesn't take up as much space. I'm sure that if there was more space there that they would have a separate gift shop structure like Intimidator, but I like this better. :D

Also, I have a feeling that the painted parking spaces are for the 2015 parking lot. But what confuses me is that isn't that entire area there being graded soon? Unless that area of the land is flat enough and doesn't need any work done to it.

From where I was standing when I took the pic it looked mostly flat but could've used some of that giant dirt mound to really get it flat.

Sometimes I look at the webcam at night just to see if maybe something looks different; so tonight I looked and it looks like that other than the 3 lights that have been there from the start that now on the right side of the webcam there are 2 more very bright lights....they almost look like work lights. These lights are not near the part of the park that is open, they are in the construction area. Does anybody have a clue as to what they my be?

Exciting to see the pace of construction has really started to pick up. And from the posted photo it appears as if the first small piece of the lift hill is now in place. So now there is nowhere to go but up as vertical construction should soon get underway.

I have another picture that's very hard to see (I was kinda far away) where you could see 2 pieces of lift track that looked ready to be lifted. A small crane and a flatbed were right next to it so I assume those are what's coming today. :D

there are no suppports left to place track on. They will need to put a few of those up before they can set any more track.

If I'm not mistaken, with the really tall supports, each track piece and corresponding support is completed before they move on to the next section. I don't think they can do much until the tall crane(s) arrive.

Sean978: While I'm not a moderator on this board, I am a coaster enthusiast. And as a coaster enthusiast, I'm going to let you know that even though the Fury325 track pieces are laying out in a field, unprotected, you don't have any business going snooping around and giving the rest of us enthusiasts a bad name. The entire Fury 325 area is a construction zone and that includes the track staging area. When we visited the area with the ACE event, we were escorted and supervised by park personnel. Your trip to the area wasn't supervised at all and could be considered trespassing.

Please people - don't do anything illegal if you are trying to get photos. If you have to question whether it's a good idea or not, it isn't. Thankfully with the park closing next weekend this shouldn't be an issue any further, but for those who are going to go and get those last few shots from park property, do it like everyone else; from the parking lot or behind a construction fence.

Thanks for saying that Jarsh. I was thinking the same thing when I saw those pictures. Most places don't want people on construction sites because of liability issues. If the park keep seeing evidence of us doing that, they will be forced to spend extra resources to police the construction areas when the park is open. This will also make it difficult for folk who are following the rules. Not trying to tell folk what to do but if you are going to do certain things, for heavens sake, don't post pictures of you doing it. Remember the dude who broke into the park and climbed up Intimidator and took pictures? That was really stupid, and I'm sure it forced the park to look suspiciously at all of us.

Did anyone think to ask the poster whether or not he had permission befor publicly accusing him of wrongdoing?

Seems like that step was skipped over...

I say it was cause and effect. If they gave us a half decent web cam to watch, that wouldnt have been necessary. jarsh, you are probably my favorite posters on here, but I do agree with Edwardo, lets not jump on someone until all facts are present.
