From what i can tell/remember, they can built most of the way up the lift, but then have to start at the bottom of the drop, building up for completion.

I don't think you necessarily did anything wrong, as long as you did not enter into a fenced off construction area. If those track pieces were just lying around in the parking lot or a field, I don't see anything wrong with walking around and taking some pictures. As long as it was not roped off or they had a no trespassing sign. But it is important to stay clear of any unauthorized areas as posted.

I watched Leviathan construction pretty heavily, and its pretty much this. They put up most of the straight bit of the lift, and when they got near the crest they started from the bottom of the drop and spine, connected them, and worked backwards to complete the whole lift.

When you are on private property an area does not have to be fenced off or posted. Someone can invite you into their home, but you can't walk in just because the door is wide open.

So, back to the "Fury 325" part of this thread, what do you think the most intense parts of the ride will be (besides the drop)? I personally think the under the bridge element will be good. It seems like there should be some good g's and it could be a head chopper. I hope that it is a little longer of a tunnel though. :)

I'm not going to complain about getting a giga, but I'll admit I was disappointed when I saw that was our "Tunnel". Even something like afterburn's tunnel would be better.

I think that the S-curve (what the train is headed into in my sig) is going to be one of the highest force parts on the ride. B&M usually banks their non turn around curves to produce as little lateral g's as possible, the one on Fury looks like its banked at almost 90°, so thats going to take a lot of force to eliminate the laterals.. And it looks like it goes through it a lot faster than most of the other turns on the ride. Also the entrance to the helix right after the airhill looks like it will be pretty forceful too.

One person thinks that the lateral g's in the helix will be so great that it would cause greyouts.
I for one think that this won't happen. B&M knows what they're doing.

That S-Curve will pour down positive g's from the heavens. I feel like positive g's amplify the sensation of speed. I wouldn't guess that Intimidator was faster than Afterburn unless someone pointed it out to me. That S-Curve will be INTENSE.

This isn't really intense, but I think that stengel dive-esque drop following the turn around will be pretty cool.

I think the feature that I'm most excited for is the fisrt drop. That thing will be awesome! I just don't think it will have the 'whip' that Intimidator has because of the shorter trains, but it will feel like an eternity.

Bring on the Fury!

^Also, that Wikipedia article is inaccurate. Arthur Levine states that the trains will have lost most of it's energy by the time it gets to the helix. He isn't concerned about greyouts.
