Also, keep in mind that Fury is over 1,000 feet longer than Leviathan. My hope is that they have already done the working with the breaks, transfer track, station, etc. (this could be why there have been so many days without vertical construction). Maybe this week we could see a lot of vertical construction!

Well, the park is expecting Fury to be open in April. And I think they will make that date. Looking forward to see more vertical construction during the coming week.

Went over to checkout the construction. From what i saw footers are done but theres alot of clean up to be done before big red can maneuver around. Also i saw alot of freshly cut trees.

parking lots open from drop off area. I hopped no fences.

I guess they can do the clean up during this work week and then start to bring in the big crane.

Off topic: If anyone has Google earth on their computer or happens to get on Google maps today and look at Carowinds it is an exact image from exactly one year ago from today. Just thought I would point that out. It's cool to realize how far they have come!
