So why are there still pieces at Clermont? Don't they have enough storage space at Carowinds right now?

I'll take a bet that they are still fabricating track. 6000 feet of track just couldn't be stored at a small place with other coasters being fabricated at the same time...

I think we might be seeing more prep/delivery stuff tomorrow. I think that BB is going to get another section added to increase its height. Also, looking back at Leviathan's construction, they used 2 (very tall) ground based person baskets to do the bolting for the last pieces.

Edit: I guess the difference is that we have 3 cranes onsite currently, but i'm not sure if the one Clifford is going to be tall enough http://justcoastingalong.blogspot.com/2 ... pdate.html

I totally knew it was your birthday and requested they hurry it up as a special present for you! ;)
Happy birthday! Is this the big 16????

Sadly no its the big 15! I got my permit so I'll be ready for the 2016 season and I'll be coming and going as much as I like.

I see people on the site and the crane was just moving. Maybe they are not focusing on the lift today but other parts of the ride. (station, computers, other parts besides the lift that don't require a huge crane). I feel like they know that this coaster is going to take a while to be built. There are still pieces up at Clermont according to the other post. I find it hard to believe that they would take a day off.

Edit: And now BB is rising from the ground. I definitely see construction happening today.

I'm realizing that 95% of the traffic at the Carowinds Blvd interchange is the traffic that is coming onto I-77 and 5% are the ones slowing down and staring at Fury's lift hill.

Also, they are working mightily on what I'm thinking is the restroom building at the front gate and creating the gate entry path into the park.
