That's my one big complaint about Cedar Fair.
The all parks pass is way too much, especially when Six Flags still is so low.
You'd think they'd want you to visit as many parks, as many times as possible, but that price restricts me to only my home park.

Now that they're coming down off the second hill, I'd guess that construction will really start to pick up over the next week and beyond. Other than the turnaround, the rest of the coaster is pretty low to the ground.

I don't understand why the little cherry picker things are moving so fast today. In the past they would go get a new piece and then sit and wait until the previous section is installed. Today they are being a lot more proactive. They are now assembling the track before the last support section has even been lifted into place. Maybe time is now becoming a factor.

I finally got to see the coaster in person last night. I was standing in the parking lot at Frugal Macdoogal's (don't judge, I needed Kahlua) and it was really beautiful to look at with the sun setting and the construction lights shining from the back side. Totally forgot to get a picture. To be honest however, pics really don't give the scale of this project. With the coaster construction and the entrance construction, it is massive. Between Carowinds and construction of Cabella's, the whole area is a work zone.

I think it may be staffing. Mosley only has a 6 man crew, so maybe now they can actually dedicate 2 guys to those?

Slightly off topic from the coaster itself... Yesterday, on camera 2, I saw a concrete pumper working on the bridge area (bottom of screen). It dawned on me that the circular plaza on the other side of that bridge is centered on the state line. If they "FIX" the state line problem on the "Front Gate" side, then i guess they'll have to re-paver the plaza on the other side of the bridge.

(If anyone doesn't know, the state line was found to be slightly off a few years ago and the front gate construction is supposed to take that into account on the rebuild. At the point of the bridge, it's about 5 feet off or so. I guess North Carolina gets more tax money from Carowinds now.)

By checking the pdf layout plans, you can see that the state line actually curves slightly before the [s]plantation house[/s] center of the circle. If anything, I hope that the state line is painted gold/yellow like it was in the past.

That Mosley 6 man crew is getting stuff done. The crew at the front gate, I think they may complete that restroom in time for Scarowinds. Mosley crew come early and stay late alot of days. The front gate crew are punching a clock. This is not a complaint, just my observation from the web cams on the difference in the 2 crews.

As far as I remember, Leviathan's first turn does not bank left then right like this one does. It's just straight up then a right bank. It's also extremely fast and intense. Anyone worried about losing speed in the first turn should not be.

I'm not sure about the height, but the barrel turns are definitely different. Like Jonathan said, Fury's turn banks to the left and then turns to the right. Looking at a video of Leviathan, their banked turn is to the right after a direct ascent opposite the drop.
