Leviathan 306 lift and 164 first turn
Fury 325 lift and 190 first turn

Fury will lose a bit more speed percentage-wise than Leviathan from it's top speed. Fury is only rated as being 3mph faster than Leviathan so Fury MAY actually be traveling slower at the apex of the first turn. But, because of the height, Fury should be faster at the bottom of the second drop.

(Who knows, Fury may be at 96 or 97 instead of 95. If so, once they set a record, they may slow the lift at the top so the drop will be 95.) :(

I don't think you can control the speed of the lift hill on a Beemer... on purpose that is. They will slow down/stop for blocking purposes, but I don't know that I've ever seen one, let along ridden one that I can remember, that has slowed down at the top because the park made it.

Maybe you can't on B&M. If so, that's a good thing. I've been on coasters that do slow you at the top for speed purposes. (Swamp Fox woodie at Myrtle Beach for one.) That one is for safety reasons though. That's a beast of a little coaster.

looking at the track layout and the webcam, theres 2 more supports that go in before it connects with the one thats put in already. I'm guessing track will be at the front gate by end of the day friday. Should get interesting.

I've been wondering about what they're gonna do for few days. I've been thinking that they might start working backwards from the brake run.

But then maybe they've got most all of the earth moving done and can continue forward, who knows? But the thing that I've really been curious about is that trench under the bridge. That's the thing that seems most behind schedule (to somebody that knows nothing about what the construction timeline for this whole project is).

Maybe they'll go and start working on the far turn-around? I guess we'll all see soon enough.

Has the footers been poured for the tunnel, and if so does the tunnel area(minus actual bridge) have to be finished before they can install track in that area.

Two supports and 2 pieces of track installed. Link to gallery

(best if you open the pic in a new tab)

If they keep a good pace, i think we could see 2 supports and 8 pieces of track installed tomorrow.

I was hoping that someone would take a picture or two. It's hard to believe that there's only 42 feet difference between the height of the barrel turn on Fury and Intimidator's lift hill.
Just think about that for a minute...
