Some of those footers seemed to have been covered up by dirt before today. Now that's its been graded, you can see them well. Before today, never noticed the elevation change in the pie shaped area between the entrance paths. Not really evident in the video either. I think the view from the big circle back toward the parking lot will be pretty nice being elevated and having the coaster in the foreground. Wonder if they'll put Carowinds in shrubs on that hill facing the parking lot. Maybe not since the park name will be up on the middle of the circle.

They dug that out yesterday with the excavator. You should be able to notice it when the time lapse video comes out.

My parents might be driving me down to the park tomorrow to see the new coaster. I'll take a few pictures to see how Fury looks in the skyline.

^ I love how Fury 325 looks, and I think it could be very close to the real map, but the slingshot is a little too big. Other than that, it's perfect.

Do you work for their mapping company? That Fury is spot on what I expect it to look like next year, except probably exaggerated vertically a bit more.

I agree with Amos, when riding Millenium Force I loved the quick lift. However, I would have preferred to have more time to look around at Lake Erie and Canada in the distance.

I agree and I think the only positive (for me) about going up the lift hill at warp speed would be that I think it would intensify the first drop a wee bit since you're going fast already, there's no hesitation, it's just over and bam.....but it makes it LESS fun to me flying up the lift hill so fast like that.......I just wondered why B&M didn't do the fast cable lift vs chain lift.......I didn't realize cable lifts were hard to maintain.

I was looking at pictures of all the Giga coasters and I think I305 is the most unattractive out of all of them.

Nice work on the map, FamousAmos. I agree with LegoGuy that it will probably be even more exaggerated than that. However that is probably real close.

While we've been focused more on Camera 2 now that there is more activity there, have you noticed how much work BB has still been doing with the basket and crew? There is still a lot of work they are doing on the lift hill.
