Carowind's web cams working for anyone this morning? I'm curious if Mosley is going to put up any supports/track today.

The cams work for me.

It is raining and there isn't any track or supports being moved.

I'm getting the live stream from both cameras.
They haven't done any track work so far.

The crane operators appear to not be working today. So, no "new" track work.

However, there is some track work getting done. The cherry pickers are working. The orange one is back at the downhill side of the barrel turn. And the green one is at the section above entrance walkway (next to the bomb crater, where we see the nice green on the bottom of the track). They are probably re-torquing down bolts.

Plenty of work leveling the ground that will be the new part of the parking lot. Some digging out there too with the excavator, close to red crane that is on the dirt. Probably more drainage work.

Bathroom building seems like to little to no work being done. But there might be some work being done inside, that I can't see. But not much movement there.

But on the other side, the ticketing/guest services buildings are very busily getting worked on.

And oh yeah, I noticed that they are lowering materials down into the service road area, most likely working on that bridge.

Right.
I didn't mean to imply they weren't actually working on the track, I just didn't phrase it correctly.
They definitely are getting work done, even if they're not installing new track.

Also, those yellow sheets are probably insulation in the floor. I've seen that done before at a house (I watched it's construction from day one, to completion last month.) It's amazing how fast a structure can go up.

0:35 a better overhead of the tunnel progress
0:40 seems like only about 9 pcs of track left in the parking area... (lots of supports). hope we get more soon.

1:05 I'd dare to stand up there! (I'd even do it untethered). The yellow people basket has a full load. Christmas tree is gone.

So around the 0:18 second mark you can see the progress on the entrance bridge. Can someone with a set of those blue prints explain what I'm seeing here? It looks like they've made two concrete walls on either side of the maintenance road that will act as supports for the bridge above.

I'm assuming they've got it dug out for the moment and that they will backfill around the wall later. Until then, it sure looks like a huge concrete building at the end of the plaza, lol. At any rate, at least we can tell that the bridge will indeed be twice it's original size. I wonder how long those two buildings on either corner (across the bridge) have left? They certainly impede the flow of the now wider bridge...
