^^Yes, you can tell at the 0:45 mark that it is relatively flush with the ground. Judging by my sketches of the old bridge, and the new bridge plans, the new bridge will be almost 15 feet wider.

That video was amazing :o

And to anyone from 'other websites' who says this thing is going to be forceless, look at this turn and tell me its going to be forceless with how fast you're going through it.

And something else I noticed is that the footers for the helix aren't very circular, it looks like a pretty tight turn right at the start and becomes wider as it goes around. This could possibly lead to an effect like whats on Kraken's turn into the MCBR, where it feels like the whole thing is pretty forceful even though its not really until you reach the snap at the end.

That's what I was going to ask. I don't think that the park would allow for a drone to get that close to the track, even when the park is closed.

Wormy wrote:^ Have to ask. Was this sanctioned by the park?

Since I didn't see much work being done, I'm going to assume it was taken on a Sunday and if so, it probably wasn't sanctioned as there isn't any park personnel there I wouldn't think. I noticed in one of the turn arounds that it looked like there were a few cars in the drop off area so the drone probably came from someone just stopping by.

Some more aerial footage. Only a small amount of Fury, but some none the less.

This was shot on Saturday, December 13th. No idea if it was sanctioned by the park. My friend and I stopped by the park and there was a guy shooting with a drone. At first I thought he was from American Thrills, but he wasn't. Didn't find his footage til yesterday.

Sorry. Don't shoot the messenger.

No shooting going on, lol.

Let's just hope the park knew about it and is ok with it. Otherwise, it's things like this that cause the drop off area to get closed off. :-/

I'm just going to guess that the person who filmed on the drone (Not ALT, I mean the other one) did not get an 'okay' from the park. That thing got way too close to Intimidator. I hope this video doesn't get the drop-off lot closed, because I want to go back down to the park in February to see testing.

I think the construction crews have time off until after the holidays.
