I wouldn't say struggling, more like careful. Imagine how heavy those pieces are and how damage they could do, they can't just bang them around!

Both cameras are working fine for me. All they're doing is prepping the first building for the dark-grey shingles. Also, it looks like they're digging to add an underground pipe of some sort for either drainage purposes, or electrical purposes.

Back to Camera 1... I think that those footers for the track underneath the pedestrian bridge are ready for the next piece of track. They've just had to work backwards so as to finish the turnaround. But now they can move forward starting from under the bridge.

I remember reading somewhere that B&M tells the builders in what order to build the coaster, so if they started from the bottom to the top, that's what they were told to do. :-|

CAM 2 still not working for me. CAM 1 is working great though.

CAM 2 is a blank for me as well.

I'm amazed watching this construction.

I'm amazed at how they get everything to fit together so perfectly. The measurements and specs must be exactly precise or they will come up short or a piece will be too long. I know myself I had trouble over the holidays with my nephews playing with Legos and Lincoln Logs. Couldn't quite get it right. And I can imagine Fury is much larger and much more complex.

Amazing progress! Can someone refresh my memory as to how deep that goes into the ground? Also, what's the actual height of that turn around current in progress and the total drop in feet? Thanks

I joined this forum just to ask this question (HI ALL!): You mean to tell me you can just pull right up to the park and take pictures? The closest I have been was coming over 485 from 77. I wanted to drive in closer just to see, but figured about as close as you could get would probably be KFC parking lot and thought it would be pointless.

Reposting again because it can be difficult to read this whole thread:
The new drop off lot, between Cabelas and Intimidator, offers a good view of Fury in perspective with the other rides.
Also, drive down Carowinds Blvd past Thunder Road and turn right towards the campground. Stop near the campground for a good view of the lift hill and drop (be polite and don't go past the security office)
