Now that is funny!
Side note, Skytower will return to operation in 2015 and depending which source remain the tallest structure in the park. Height(including flagpole) varies from 320 to 340 feet.

But what about that shadowy place?
That's dinosaurs alive, you must never go there.

Hilarious!

Has anyone else noticed that if all of the track pieces arrive and at the rate that they are going that the track completion may coincide with the winter warm up.....just an observation.

I wouldn't bet on it... They are doing the "easy" stuff now. When they start threading the track through the supports for the helix, erection time will slow dramatically due to the complicated nature of the build. I'm thinking by the end of the month we'll be finish (or real close). This will give them some time to finish up the electrical for the coaster and start testing when the train arrive in February.

When you read this in the voice of Mufassa, it sound even more hilarious.

I wonder what kind of lighting (if any) that the trains will have? I'd like to see them sporting a lime neon green streak down the side of some sort, that way a night all you see is a streak of lime green light flying in the sky!

Been looking at the layout and that long straight piece of track (that they're working on now) seems like it will be a little bit of a mid-course let-down before the camel-back and helix. Or maybe it will be a mid-course respite.

Why not have the hill out of the "tunnel" be a camel-back and dive back down under the other entrance path under another bridge (or true tunnel). Then you could have a second camel-back into the helix. That would make for a double-dip underground. Just a thought. It is what it is.

I agree that it looks like a blah moment (just like the hill over the station on Afterburn), but I'll withhold judgement until I ride it. It would've been cool to see a low, hard bank coming out of the "tunnel" that led into one of those small, fast airtime hills (like on Leviathan) over the entrance walkway and then up into the big airtime hill.

That hill over the station on Afterburn is one of my favorite parts of the ride. It is unique to find floater air on an inverted coaster. It lulls the rider into thinking that it is all over, but you make the corner and BOOM a nice forceful corkscrew.

Wonder what happened with the steel crew. A couple of hours ago it looked like they removed a track section headed into the camel that they already had in place. Then work just seemed to stop. Even the prepped support hasn't gone up.

looking through my captures, it looks like they are working on the "supportless" mount right before the piece they are working on now. must have had a slight fitment issue.

The hill over the station on Afterburn is called the speed hill, it is intentional designed to slow the train down for the wingover without having a brake run.

Explain Ricochet then, 13-15 blocks but can only run 10 cars. To my memory, they can run 10 but normally only run 8...
Intimidator has three brake runs for a total of 5 blocks but only runs three trains.
Thunderhead has two brake runs, but only runs 2 trains....

I know why the hill is there, but B&M could have designed the track to go under the lift then to the wingover. My sources say the hill was designed to use up speed to prepare for the wingover and to parady Maverick "buzzing the tower".
