^^ and our "Hoover Dam" of a dive-under bridge!! Hopefully the subcontractors and/or Carowinds' budget allow for Saturday AND Sunday work on good weather days to make up for these rainy days when virtually nothing is being accomplished...

I agree, the work will go quick but the problem is it can't go at all when it's raining :(

Here's to a lot of sunny days between now and March 28th!

I'm sure the powers that be at the park, if they had to choose, would much rather the entry road, parking lot, entry plaza and buildings be completed instead of Fury for opening day. Hopefully everything will come together and both will be ready to go.

The colors on the animation have a bluer cast to them than the color that's presented on the webcam. They look more of a green on the webcam. The animation on youtube is more of a bluish color. So, what color is it REALLY more like? (Computer monitors just don't do colors justice.) The Fehnel pic looks closer to the bluish color on the animation.

Thoughts from anyone who has been there and seen with their own eyes?

In person I think the track is more pure teal the perfect mix of blue and green than anything. Depending on angle, sun and shadows you may get more green or more blue if that makes since.

Looks like a lot of track for a little saw horse to support at the plant. I guess Mike had to fly to Ohio and get on those boys. "Where is my coaster? I got cranes rented and workers sitting around drinking coffee with nothing to do. i did not want to come all the way up here but those folk at Carowinds Connections are worrying the hell out of me about the rest of Fury. Here take this can of paint and write 'the end' on the final pieces and take a picture so I can get them off my back."

LOL!

I'll give you 5 bucks that today's visit to Clermont Steel Fabricators was scheduled a while ago. Cedar Fair Park GMs normally visit Clermont in January to see how track production for their new B&M is going.

They did I was watching it, wondering what they were doing and it looked like the old one went to the front gate to help put up the other buildings!
