General Carowinds discussion

So, here is an obscure observation. Venues have to have access roads for the 18 wheelers to bring in staging equipment, rigging, lighting, etc. (Not to mention buses for the acts themselves,) The animators didn't draw in the access road to the back of the Paladium. My guess is that it will be just behind the first drop under that last camel-back. Just a thought. lol

looks the same as the rendering to me...

Oh wow you know this whole time I've thought that the building they topped off yesterday had a completely flat roof line, but you're right it does look the same in the animation.

Now that I think about it, how will they fit the new 20' wider bridge in place of the old one? Are they going to just have it go into the sides of the buildings in the plaza, or have some of the plaza's buildings been secretly torn down.

I've been thinking about that as well. The buildings on the other side of that bridge were about the same width apart as the bridge itself. I wish they would pan camera 2 down just a bit so we could see some of that. We don't really need to see the traffic on the interstate,... just up to the new toll plaza.

That track has been laying there for a few years now. If i remember right, I think it was for a coaster in China that got messed up somehow.

All Carowinds Plaza buildings are shown on the approved blueprints, I kinda suspected that in the future more of Carowinds Plaza will be remodeled to open the area up.

It seems the building on the left, as you're walking in the park, is kinda flushed to the bridge and the building on the right isn't as close. Maybe the bridge will run into the. Buildings and you would still sorta have the same opening as Before, just you can touch more of the buildings. Anyone follow me??
