No, we couldn't sit in it. Also, no single rider line. Mike also confirmed some differences to the original entrance... like no NC/SC signage in the circle...

Any word on whether Fans and enthusiasts will be invited? I bet it was cool to look, am I seeing things or do the seats look a different shape than Intimidator's? Sorry for asking so many questions.

We all got free goodies like Carowinds string bag, Fury 325 hard hats, free tickets to Dollywood and Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Fury mouse pads, etc

The tribute was amazing. I cried.

I'm super excited about the passes to Six Flags Fiesta Texas because we're going this summer! If anyone isn't going to be able to use the fast pass off theirs, let me know!

The trains will cost around a million dollars per train (x3 trains = $3M)

They said they are done with the two red cranes... they don't need either for the Slingshot construction.

The Travel Channel was there filming the event for a show... The food was awesome... We got to touch the track but were told not to touch the rails as lots of spots were just painted... they were buffing where they joined and we could see many places were primed awaiting paint. Mike also said that Clermont Steel Fabricators told him the rails ARE filled with sand. (I'd rather the noise!)

We will load from this side of the building, and upon return exit the far side. The exit will come out the peaked part with the tall glass on the corner. That area will be where you can buy pictures, etc.
