That is actually a good question. Also I think if anyone who wants to know something and did not come to WWU feel free to ask. I will tell what I know as long as it isn't top secret. Also I know FamousAmos could answer a lot of your questions as well as he was very on top of it today as usual. It was a great time and I look forward to attending next year. Hopefully it is at Carowinds again. I look forward to seeing some of your faces again at the Fury 325 media day event on 3/25. Finally, I do plan to update some pictures on the group flickr page and on CC and I do plan to do a write up on WWU. Once again it was great and I want to thank Jarsh and Carowinds(cause I know that they are watching) for allowing us to have this event and for making it as best as it could be. (minus the technical difficulties, but that's alright. )

Thanks for the answers. I just wanted to make sure I heard correctly and didn't assume anything. I'm planning to ask for that day off work quite far in advance lol.

I also want to say thanks again to Jarsh. I'm very appreciative that you let me come today. I have wanted to go to a coaster event for so long and it was just as amazing as I thought it would be. I look forward to hopefully getting to know more people personally that share this passion of mine. (Working on my anxiety lol)

Many people asked if the slingshot would be open by media day or opening day. According to the Funtime website the estimated set up time for the slingshot is 1-2 weeks so I think there is a good chance that it will be open by media day.

AMAZING EVENT!!! I had a ton of fun at the WWU. There were so many questions answered, and I had an awesome time during the tour! I have a few good pics and videos that I will try to share later on! Thanks to Carowinds, Josh, the parks who presented, and everyone else who helped put together this event!

Today was great. To say the LEAST.

It was my first time seeing Fury in person and the view from I-77 is breathtaking. I was very ecstatic the entire day, though I tried to be casual (I don't know how that turned out ).
I filmed basically from the time I arrived to the time I left. Kudos to Josh and Carowinds for this event and I am looking forward to the media event. It was great to talk to all of you and to meet some of you for the first time.

As for lunch. All I ate was the Sweet Tea Glazed Chicken and the panini. It was great. There was a rather different twist on the moonpies though. I did not get the chance to try one. I kept myself running the whole time.

The train reveal was a real surprise to me. I even got the chance to talk with Steve about the trains (which he did not mind me filming at all so you guys will hear it).

We just had a great time today.
I'll edit all of the video over the next day or so.

Lunch really was great. I think my favorites were the pimento cheese and the ravioli (which was a last minute change). Also, I don't like grits, but the shrimp and grits were really good!

Everything about the event was awesome. I'm amazed by the swag that we got, and the door prizes were very cool! (I ended up with a flag from Holiday World. I haven't been to Holiday World, but it's incentive to go to put more meaning to it now!) I'm really excited that we got a pass to Dollywood and to Six Flags Fiesta Texas! We're going to San Antonio this summer, so I'm thrilled to be able to use my Fast Lane Pass for the new Batman coaster there!

This was my first non-riding event, and it was so much fun. Probably not as fun as a riding event, but still awesome. I loved seeing y'all again, and meeting some of you for the first time.

I can't wait till media day!!!

Great to see everyone again, as well as meet a few new faces. I am especially thankful to Mike, John and Bill who gave me permission to fly my quadcopter over FURY to get some awesome aerial photos. I made them public on FB. Take a look!
