I'm only at the halfway mark but this is well worth watching. I was there, but really too far back to hear the spokesman on the mega-phone.

With that said, I just learned something new, right around the 7:20 mark......

Surprised this hasn't been discussed more. We will have sand in our rails!

CoasterAddict…thanks for sharing that!!!

FamousAmos…I know some people haven't seen the Fury animations yet, but they are readily available on the internet, and they're in HiDef, not a video of a HiDef clip being shown on a screen 30 feet away. I think I'd edit it out, if it were me. I think it's going to be hard to get someone excited about watching a 3 hour home video. I don't even want to go watch a 3 hour highly-produced movie in the theater. The more you edit it, the easier it is going to be for people to digest it. Cutting it up into chunks, or even editing out some of the filler stuff is going to make it more appealing for the viewers. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the compliment... I was glad to learn a few new things on this tour too. Just when you thought you figured everything out, you learn so many new things. I do wish that I recorded the Q&A session too, but I wanted to have the batteries ready for this tour. With the WiFi feature turned on, the GoPro just made it - close call! :D

Yes, an hour or so ago I decided to cut out as much as possible. But It will still be in HD and appealing to the eye. Thanks for the opinion. I like to hear feedback from others.
Also coasteraddict, I happened to record the Q&A with Mike, which will be in the final product in a day or so.

Also, Mike said that the rails WILL be filled with sand, however, the track spine WILL NOT have sand in it. So in this case, I wonder how loud the coaster will sound?

Did the topic of repainting Ripcord come up at all? All that rust is kind of an eyesore in such a nice looking area of the park.

Also, I came across this image on the flickr page... what is it showing?

And can anyone give some more specifics on the Dive-In Movie event?
Thanks in advance. You guys are great. :D

Why yes there is. I added it to mine when I processed my pass at the campground. You can also do it online. For the platinum pass it cost me $116.91 to add it.

Redrunner...that pic is the entrance at Alabama Splash Adventure.

Someone asked about painting Ripcord. I don't recall the answer, but I'm sure someone does.

The Dive In movies are going to be Saturday nights in the summer months. (July & August )

^^About Ripcord, Steve said it was Galvanized. But whether or not it will get a new paint job is up in the air. I think it's something that they're considering though. Steve was taking a lot of notes back there.

Thank you. I get lucky sometimes. I also didn't include pics of you since they weren't flattering.

Hell... even when I pose they still aren't flattering, haha! But thanks for thinking of me. I think I'll keep your name on the media day list, lol!

 I know what you are talking about.
