Here is some food for thought. If you look at Talon, the inverted at Dorney Park, it's rails are filled with sand. It's just inside the main entrance and borders the waterpark.

I have every reason to believe Mike that there is sand in the rails. But maybe only on the areas crossing over the walkways near the entrance. Mike seemed to be more sure of himself than Steve on this one. Just my opinion.

Jay, did you find any sand on those bolts? How thick is that plate?

Ken I was thinking the same thing about sand only in areas but the more I think of it I really love the sound of our TG/AB but all I can think of is riding Fury 325 at night time with hardly any rail noise. Spooky.

For those curious about Media Day - those who attended ACE Winter Warm-Up got an automatic invite, and that’s all we know for now.

No sand, but the bolts and plate are scratched up quite a bit.

Plate is exactly half an inch thick. Bolts are 3.5 inches long and 1.25 inches in diameter.

I am still curious to know if the Facebook winners back from the announcement will be invited to media day. Any thoughts?

I don't think that any information regarding the Media Event will be released until early March.

Media Days often offer the chance to ride lots of times, but sometimes there are long delays between dispatches due to camera setups, adjusting, etc. Regardless, if you attend media day, you should be able to ride several times.
