Could be roof sheets for either the entry building or the train storage.

Did we ever figure out for sure if they are going to put a roof on the storage area? I haven't seen a rendering yet that showed one.

You are correct about only some of the rails having sand. The sand/no sand segments are spaced so the ride plays the star spangled banner every time it runs.

I figured this out by playing FamousAmos' WWU video backwards at 1/2 speed.

Steve said that there will be a roof on it. But it won't be attached for a few more weeks.

they were working on the problem footer this morning... either welding or cutting something (sparks were flying)... and doing a lot of moving dirt near it with a backhoe. They welded a couple more rails on the entrance structure. Lots more truck loads of gravel/sand dumped in the parking lot area. Workers were seen throwing large tarps over some areas. Then they all went home.

I doubt any work will be done tomorrow, unless its indoors...

Wonderland probably lost a lot of days to snow as well. So if our weather holds up, I guess it is possible.

Of course, Leviathan didn't open to the public until April 27th, which is a month difference :P. Leviathan's last track piece was installed on February 7th, which gave them ~80 days between track completion and ride opening. Fury is also way longer than Leviathan, which means it should take longer to construct (though I don't know the exact dates of when "construction" began on either, Leviathan's lift hill was about a third complete in October the season prior). Having said that, I'm still confident they'll have Fury open on time! Leviathan was probably finished with extra time in mind since it was B&M's first giga, longest single-chain lift, unsupported crest of lift hill, etc., and, yeah, snow (couldn't exactly test it with the rails covered in ice :lolno:). I say, ~1 month for testing and an additional (~1) month for training is more than enough.
