General Carowinds discussion

Nighthawk had a huge line (and still does) because it's notoriously slow to load. It still has a 2 hour line on a mildly busy day.

Will the park be busier than a normal opening day? Probably (Unless it's rainy). Kings Island has a history of large opening days. That's their normal. Carowinds' normal is not hugly busy opening days. Fury might be part of a plan to increase attendance, but not all on opening day.

Weekends are gonna be WAY too busy for my taste.

This is going to be our plan, as well. My kids have off the week before Easter. Charlotte schools have the week after Easter, I believe. We have always tried to avoid weekends (they weren't open the week of our break last year, so we did the weekends and it was MUCH more crowded than we are used to...what can I say, we're spoiled :D ). So, I think we will try to go mid-week, the week before Easter. We'll still be ready for a long wait for Fury, but hopefully not as long as on the weekends.

ALL HAIL KING BRUH!

When it was announced that the final track piece would be put in on Friday, I'm pretty sure the delay was intentional. With this being such a "monument" in the parks line-up, I'm betting the final piece will be news worthy and involve higher-ups from corporate. I would be shocked if the final piece went in and there wasn't something planned. All the concerns about the footer and things slowing down were unfounded. It was simply working on other things so the final piece could be a party.

Just my thoughts.

The next support to go up should be about the same height as the wide support that will go over the access road. Since the webcam's view of the wide support may end up being partially blocked by trees, this support should give those who are concerned about vehicle clearance there something to look at. I would think the access road would have a standard design clearance, like 13' x 13'. It'll easily be bigger than that.

There was definitely something wrong with that footer and it had to be redone!
Just my thoughts.

I know that's what we assumed, but where did they actually say that?
