I have noticed that every opening day, it's cloudy and rainy. I'm praying for that this year. When it rains, most people avoid going. But guys if you doubt it's going to open late, it will. If you think it'll be crowded, it will. Just think positive yall! Positive! Anyways, no matter what, I literally day Dream every day about riding fury to the point where I forget I'm at school. That's how much excitement is filled in my little body.

Wow! That photo really gives a sense of scale to everything, especially the amount of parking spaces being put in! I am really excited to get down there and see everything in person! Unfortunately I only have a few days off each summer, and I want to have enough time to do everything at each park, because even with three days at Cedar Point, I still missed their WindSeeker, Calypso, and Giant Wheel (rain tripled my wait for Magnum and kept the Giant Wheel closed for a day and a half ). So from now on, each park gets its own trip to allow for rain and crowds. Also, my Kings Dominion trip is with all nine members of my immediate family, so it would be pretty difficult to convince them to travel over to Carowinds on the same trip (they don't share my passion for coasters and want to spend time at Virginia Beach)... Unfortunately, this means I have to wait until 2017 to make it down to Carowinds and ride this beautiful B&M giga. And everything else, of course! Your park is beautiful and looks to continue to grow as a themed amusement park!

And I'm going along with others on this and saying it's most likely going to be tomorrow for finishing up the track! They are speeding through that installation!

Hey Mike (if you're reading this) you should have someone park a truck underneath the support that will go over the road. So that the "clearance" debate can be put to rest.

I have noticed a strange pattern. Starting in 2011, I visited on opening day thereon out (and was in the first batch of the Windseeker riders). Since the, the odd years have been sunny at 10:00 AM, while the even years have been rainy. According to my almanac, this year should be sunny

If you read all the comments, they concerned more than just clearance... also whether there would be cement barriers protecting the track supports... and the common sense safety aspect of allowing a 40 ton truck driving in close proximity to track supports while people are riding the ride... see how funny that would be to you if one of your loved ones suffered that fate

Murphy's law is only true if you believe so. The energy you put out is what you get back. What you expect is what you get... For example, if I expect to keep seeing debt coming in the mail, all I'm going to see is debt. If I change that energy around and choose to expect checks, then checks will be in the mail. So, I expect the ride to be open. It's called the law of attraction. Anyways, my apologies for getting off topic.
