I can't wait until June when I can come ride! I think I need to talk someone here into moving back to Charlotte. They've lived down here all their life....I think it's time for a change....lol

^^Awesome! I hope it doesn't get flagged for copyright infringement with that The Dark Knight/The Dark Knight Rises music... :silent:

I'm still going through pictures but will get some more posted as soon as I can. I wanted to mention a few things:

1) The chain for the lift hill is being installed right now (today)
2) The footer wasn't hit by a piece of equipment, it was just off. One of the construction guys told me - "One out of 250 ain't bad. We have 3 mm to play with and that one was off of the template."
3) Mike was telling media that Fury 325 will open in the spring barring any bad weather
4) While sometimes it doesn't look like much is going while gazing from above, when you are actually walking through the construction areas there is a ton of work going on all the time.
5) There are no trains on the transfer tracks. It sounds like they may be waiting until the roof is constructed.

worst thing that usually happens is that i have to mute the audio for the video. but usually they just require ads to be displayed with the video.

Oh, and thanks Wormy for getting me the music.

i'm guessing they just install it link by link. install a link, then advance the motor and install another link. I've never actually seen the process, but i'm assuming it works like that.

I don't know for certain, but you're on the right track. The do install it a link at a time, but they use a crane to pull the chain up the lift. Now, what they do when they have to run the chain back through the lift, I couldn't tell ya.
