For what it's worth, the sign that was in the drop off area before (and potentially stolen apparently; this is why we can't have nice things) said to stay in the drop off area. Just because there is no fence doesn't mean it's not trespassing. I would strongly recommend that no one go into the parking lot both for your own sake and to avoid making us all look bad.

Can we confirm that that is indeed a train in the station? How do they normally install the trains? Build them around the track in the station or slide them fully connected onto the transfer track?

Lift them up on the the storage tracks a car at a time, some coasters have a small crane or winch on the sheds for this purpose.

Shows how much I know! I wondered how the track was examined. I knew it had to be examined somehow - but I never knew exactly how they did it on large steel coasters.

I'd say the FD was doing a site tour. We commonly do this to all structures of interest to pre-plan it in case something happens. You could probably expect seeing trucks there over the next few days. Im sure all shifts and first due companies will probably tour it. Sometimes, being in public service has its advantages. Now, That car on the track on Intimidator could be an inspection car, or a prop for a fd drill this week.
