It be nice in they had some historic panels on the line to look at explaining the meaning of the hornet nest and charlotte give it that charlotte theme to it. I also would love if Hugo the Charlotte Hornets mascot would come to opening day and rode it!

There is no formal branding tie in between the ride and the Hornets (a la Intimidator) but I don't think that rules out cross promotion. It would make sense to do it.

In a comment on Carowinds Instagram someone mentioned that there would be lime green led chase lights going up the lift and lime green LEDs on the white supports fading to white. Can anyone confirm this?

Just think of the night rides in this thing. The beginning and end are situated in a very undeveloped part of the park. It will be dark, and faaast. I'm really excited for the whole experience. It will bring a whole new life to the back part of the park (it'll be great for teens)

Nice! I love that they are going the extra mile on seemingly every aspect of this coaster.

I can imagine some LED lightning on the hexagons in the tunnel as well. That space is going to look extremely small as you are barreling toward it!
