I'm sure they are focusing all of their efforts on the bridge area in an effort to get what's under/around it complete so they can put a fence around it, but other than that, it wouldn't have any effect on the testing. Neither would the snow.

Theres still alot of work to do underneathe so they cant finish that with a train testing. Also there is still more concrete to pour on the bridge for the posts. The concrete on the bridge itself is still fresh. a coaster train passing underneathe would cause alot of vibrations and could crack concrete that hasnt had enough time to cure.

Geesh, you all are too much. Look at all the rain we've had and construction kept up. Our snow, for the most part, disappears as fast as it comes so no worries here.

I firmly believe Fury 3 2 5 will be open on time. It really doesn't take long for things to come together once all the prep has been done.

Love the sign Wormy!! That is too funny.

Isn't the track in that section still tarped? I assume it will stay that way as long as they are doing concrete work.

Here is a screenshot of the webcam for Intimidator Feb 12, 2010. It didn't delay the ride opening for opening day. Plus I also have a screenshot where it was covered in snow January 31st as well. I doubt this one little storm coming will delay Fury 325.

According to WSOC's Facebook Page, they are saying ti will be more of an ice event.

We are continuing to follow updates to this developing winter storm in the Charlotte area. Meteorologist Vicki Graf said it looks like this will be more of an ice event for the area. We may see anywhere from a quarter to a half inch of ice.
