The lights on the lift hill are very directional. From the interstate they are pretty dull. As you drive down the entrance road the green lights are bright but they get dull as you pass Cabelas.

Now perhaps we understand the reason for making the catwalk white? Looks like that green really shows up against that white as opposed to the track. Just a thought.

just went to the park to see the lights in person. they are stunning. one thing I hadn't seen though, Cabelas has stuck a huge sign right beside the carowinds sign. I absolutly hate it. Their store can be seen from the highway, I dont think they needed to put a big *** sign right there.

Oh you mean this one? When I drove pass I was like what the hell is that smh. Cabela's already throwing shade at Carowinds. Lol



I actually like the steady on lighting. They already got three chasing lifts: Intimidator, Thunder Road and Woodstock Express. let Fury325 just beam in the night sky. Now I'm anxious to see the supports lights and under the bridge or whatever light design they at the north gate.

Well, looks like no testing today! We got half inch of snow near Charlotte, and we all know that even if there is just 1 snowflake in the south then everything shuts down! I expect they will do the first test on Friday.

On a side note, Fury's lights look awesome! I really hope that they extend them all the way to the top of the lift, or maybe even to the bottom of the first drop! That would be cool to see in the skyline!
