Because of the first test run they did just as the sun was coming up. I'm surprised no one here saw it!

And just for the record, once the train does actually make it to the lift hill, it will probably sit there for 15 or so minutes before finishing the climb to test out the sensors, chain, etc - so don't freak out and crap yourself when you see it begin to climb. Freak out and crap yourself when it goes over the crest. :-)

Haha i guess it could valley. Obviously the ride will run in the rain for many years, but its first run.. In the rain.. Just didn't know if that would prevent it from happening or if the show must go on.. I keep watching the cam so i know if i meed to go up there on my lunch.

But...why would they have to wait for it to clear...the ride can run in the rain, it was designed to do so.
