And where did this 11 am thing come from?

Didn't the 11AM thing come from the parks twitter?
EDIT: That is for the media event, so I don't know where y'all got that time from for the testing.

My money's on for tomorrow testing. While I'm sure that the ride can run in the rain, there is still an increased risk of it being valleyed due to wet rails, and I'm sure they wouldn't want to deal with taking the train apart and move it back to station in this sucky weather.

I don't see how a coaster hitting the brakes at 45-55 mph has the chance to valley...unless the wind is seriously blowing...

I was wondering that too. Only one person was broadcasting that day and time on various sites. Last official word we heard was Mike saying it may happen sometime next week, (now this week).

Diamondback at KI had its first test run around this same time six years ago. The weather was very similar - tempatures in the low 40s, cloudy and a little wet at times. I believe Leviathan and Behemoth started testing in mid-March also in similar conditions, and I think there's a video out there that shows one of Behemoth's initial runs in some snow showers. It's certainly not unprecedented to test in these kinds of conditions.
