he said feature, not concern. meaning they already caught it. It's safe for you to ride now.

Glass to catch items pedestrians drop (that can potentially bounce through the bars) is going to look FAR better than a catch net that surrounds the Afterburn tunnel. (Not to mention enhance the view of the ride.)

Those nets would be very ugly in the front of the park. They should take them off Afterburn as well.

On a side note, Looks like they're testing Rip Roarin Rapids as well. At least the rapids are running. (I think that ride needs an upgrade as well. Hated that they took out the tunnel.

On a side note, Looks like they're testing Rip Roarin Rapids as well. At least the rapids are running. (I think that ride needs an upgrade as well. Hated that they took out the tunnel.

Space probably doesn't allow it, but I would love that ride to have the "quick loading" feature that the similar raft ride at Cedar Point has. It's a moving circular platform that makes loading seem so much quicker. The last couple times I wanted to ride RRR I didn't because the long and slow moving line. It will be neat to look down on it from FURY 325!

On the locker issue, i really don't understand young people. I never take anything into the park that is a ride issue. My car is my locker. I don't play games or buy souvenirs until I've done with all the rides. Even then, if I get tired of carrying something around, I take it to the car. I can see a locker being useful in the water park, but otherwise? Another thing, why do young folk feel they have to carry backpacks? I really don't get that. What is important you need to carry around at all times. Those things make the entry line very long while they are searched. I have keys, a cell phone, and maybe a cap and shades. That is all I need inside the park. On a ride, I sit on my cap, and put the keys, phone and shades in a button pocket.

For me, I carry an expensive camera and a GoPro. I really want to get (EDIT: shots..... Lol) of the ride from the queue and this policy makes it impossible for me to do so. I also don't like leaving 1000$ worth of camera stuff in a locker. That's just me. I have a YouTube channel for coaster videos so I like to have a variety of unique shots, some of which can only be shot in the queue line.

Unfortunately, women's clothing does not exactly allow for carrying everything in my pockets. And believe me, I'm not some young kid wearing the shorty short shorts, either. I would love to go bagless, but yes, we do bring a small bag with us (usually just one for me and my kids, combined). We hold phones, keys, money, medications (life-saving for my son), and maybe extra sunscreen for my freckled daughter. If my son is going to go off by himself, he usually has on shorts that he can fit his phone and medication in a buttoned pocket, but that still leaves my daughter and I out in the cold.

I'm a diabetic and wear an insulin pump on my belt. When I visit parks, I wear a fanny pack so i can put my pump in there. (The reason is because bouncing around on rides has caused the belt clip to actually break while bouncing around or being pinched in the seat.) A broken clip is NO fun because the pump wont fit in my pocket unless I'm wearing the baggiest of cargo shorts. (Even then no guarantee it wont fall out during a ride.)

When wearing my fanny pack, I turn the pack to the 10 or 2 area between where the seat and the restraint meet. Never had a problem on any ride. Even Intimidator which has the exact same seats as Fury. What 's gonna happen on Fury? Sure, I can put my pump in a locker for 10 minutes but not for hours on end while I'm waiting in line. (I also can't afford to purchase locker space all over the park every time I want to ride to use for one small item.)

Sure, I go ahead and put my wallet and sunglasses, etc in there as well and use it for more than just the pump, but I wouldn't even bring a pack into the park if wasn't concerned about the pump. (I can take my sunglasses back to the car when it gets dark.)

I think if your pack is small it shouldn't be a problem...but I don't run the park...anymore...so who's to say. I can almost imagine they will be real strict in the beginning though...but your case different...

My concern isn't so much what I'm bringing into the park, but what I acquire at the park.

If I pay $20 for a souvenir cup, then I have to pay $2 per hour to store it, I don't think that's very fair.
Same thing goes with basketballs, or clothing, or glasses, or any other souvenirs.

Now, if they had a set full-day price for pass-holders to use a locker that was say $4-$5?
I could handle that but I'm not going to pay $2 or more every hour to have the things I just bought (at premium park prices) sit in a metal box. That's upwards of $20 if you ride Fury even once an hour and stay all day...
I would just as soon not buy any souvenirs. And that is very unfortunate.
