General Carowinds discussion

Top Gun was brand new, and they spent most of the money on the ride itself than the theming, which is unfortunate. However, with the new ride being relocated from a park in the same chain, the ride itself is signicantly less. Hopefully that will mean the ride will be highly themed.

With the color theory, you have to look at it as if it is after a movie. When you look at the Borg Invasion poster, all the colors they 'tested' are there. If it is Star Trek, for example, they wouldn't paint it yellow and blue, or red and white, or black and pink. Look at Reptar, it is yellow and green. The colors coordinate with the theme, same goes for Top Gun. When the Hurler had its original theming, the trains were light blue with the flames - just like the car in Wayne's World. See what I am trying to get at?

Hopefully the theming will be awesome. I do see where you are getting the color shemes fitting the theming.

Maybe in the future you should take the time to maybe e-mail him instead of putting it in one of your posts.

That is because you where not thinking and decided to call some attention to yourself.

I heard you wanted to buy White Water Falls and set it up in your backyard?

Back on topic please.

Between WuTang's two "I agree" posts in this topic and this piece of utter nonsense, can we have some posts with some substance (or some common sense for that matter), guys?

The black and green supports make me think of Tomb Raider. Camouflage colors or a jungle setting is what comes to my mind. Maybe when they announce the name, we'll get an idea if there will be some themeing for the coaster. Maybe a picture of the coaster with its themeing will be released.

I got common sense if you had any you wouldn't bring me out. Got something to confront me about that is bothering you than send me a personal message. I did not know "Utter Nonsense" was against the rules. However, Congratulations about your public announcement on your opinion concerning our latest post being "Senseless"

Posts that contain "I agree" are pointless. I think a lot of people on here would agree with that. It just takes up space.

Why don't you tell us why you agree? Can you do that?

Vertical construction should begin any day now. The footers are done. The lift hill will probably be the only thing that can be seen. You might be able to see the loop and the horseshoe element but I'm not for sure.

We should be able to see the lift, the horseshoe, and the loop. I know the loop is 66 feet, Reptar is 49, and it can be seen from the parking lot.

height doesnt have anything to do with being able to see. its all about closeness to the edge of the park.......

if anything like montumax said,

The loop and horseshoe will be futher in the center of the park so the angle of the eye to the height of those may not be good and those elements wont been seen from outside the park

Coming from Charlotte, you can see the Skytower all the way from the Billy Graham Parkway/I-77 cross, and Top Gun can be seen not to far down the road from there, so I think Stealth will also be able to be seen quite some way from the park as well.
