Dale Earnhardt wore a helmet that did for years, he was one of the last to go to full face helmets.

Research update:
Dale Earnhardt was one of the last NASCAR drivers to wear an open face helmet. I can't find any proof that he had a full face helmet but I am pretty sure he wore one for ONE race only.

Kiddie bumper cars? There are other carousel like car rides. Who knows, maybe the car and helmet go together...lol

If I had to guess, based off of recent expansions and Zamperla's ride catalog, I would assume the first teaser was for a Zamperla Convoy.

That actually makes sense.

However...there is this as well (this one is at OWA). This could be what the toy car represents.

He was wearing a full head helmet when he died. He is saying he was one of the last racers to wear a full head helmet.

Is that one of those Jump2 rides?

I think it's pretty safe to assume we'll be getting at least two of these (accounting for Hint #2 and #5):

- Zamperla Convoy (Peanuts Road Rally at CP)?
- Zamperla Mini Bumper Cars (Joe Cool's Dodgem School at CP)?
- Zamperla Speedway (Peanuts 500 at KD)?

As for Hint #1 , #3, & #4, I'm pretty confident that they're referring to:

- Zamperla Crazy Bus (Charlie Brown's Camp Bus at CP).
- Zamperla Tea Cups (Woodstock's Tea Twirl, perhaps? It's Whirlybirds at CP but that name is already in use at Carowinds...).
- Zamperla Jumpin' Star (Kite Eating Tree).

What are the odds that Lucy's Crabby Cabbie gets re-themed to The Great Pumpkin Coaster and a pumpkin pie is one of the gifts? It's a better theme because it's the most iconic Peanuts special. Capitalizing on it just makes sense—plus the ride's about due for a repaint anyway, right?

A few years before his death Earnhardt passed out and crashed on the warm up laps of a race, the culprit was said to have been carbon monoxide exposure since at the time he wore an open face helmet. Because of this incident Nascar mandated the use of full face helmets with clean air feeds.

It's a little ironic that so many safety rules were put in place due to incidents with Earnhardt.

Earnhardt was wearing an open-faced helmet, like always, with his signature goggles, when he died. Full-faced helmets were mandated AFTER his fatal crash. No evidence was ever presented that a full-faced helmet would have saved his life. I never saw him wear a full-faced helmet. He claimed he had a better feel for the car and better peripheral vision with the open-faced helmet.

Sorry for the off-topic post, but I felt this needed cleared up for the younger generation on the board and the non-race fans.

As for the teaser, yes, that was not a NASCAR-approved helmet, but it represents a racing helmet and teases very strongly at the racing-themed whip ride already described and pictured in this thread. There could be more than one "driving" ride added in 2018.

Also, if rumors of Snoopy's Yacht Club's demise are confirmed, then that's one less water ride, technically.
