Is anyone a little bit disappointed in this announcement? I knew we weren't getting a Hotel and I knew Vortex wasn't happening but We lost some rides and Camp Snoopy is the same size it was. I just

In a Facebook comment, the park stated "the Character Carousel and Woodstock Gliders will be relocated inside the park to make room for this exciting expansion." So at least we know for sure that we aren't losing these rides.

If it's anything Carowinds will do, they will get rid of 8 rides and put in 6 new rides. *face palm* For example, this year's County Fair.

lol I've been jokingly suggesting for years that they put one of those Snoopy Canoe statues on top of that rock formation since CP, Knotts and other parks have that. They finally listened!

I'm Happy with the announcement. The Helicopters and the small boat ride are expendable. Excited to see the carousel near vortex and to see where they put the flyers. This is another great addition. Six new rides with a net gain of four is good.

Also, Pre K pass.

It seems to me that the park may be intentionally transitioning Camp Snoopy into more of a focus on younger children by installing these new rides for young kids and relocating the "all ages" carousel and flyers rides into the main park. I think it makes a lot of sense and it is what parks traditionally have done and it makes the rest of the park more well-rounded. It ensures that the whole family will have things to do as they move around the park and puts these rides in places where they will be accessed by people after they've "graduated" from going to Camp Snoopy.
