^ THE GAG!!!!

I personally would love to see a twister style GCI with millennium flyers in the said area that stays with in the structure the second half of the ride similar to GhostRider.

None of y’all think a Hangtime type coaster could be in the works?

Carowinds is starting to lack in the inversions department, but I feel like the park’s need for a good wooden coaster outweighs almost anything else

It isn’t that Carowinds is lacking it is that Alton Towers, Kings Island and Cedar Point got more inversions. In 2009 Carowinds was number 3 behind Thrope Park and Magic Mountain.

The list is for actual inversions, not how many times the ride inverts (since boomerang goes thru the same inversions twice)

Afterburn 6
Boomerang 3
Cyclone 4
Vortex 2
Nighthawk 5 (both lie-to-fly are counted)

Allow me to correct myself, what I more or less meant to say is that the park is lacking in GOOD coasters that have inversions. Poor wording on my part lol

Back to the popular opinion though, a woodie is at the top of my wishlist

It seems like most on this site thinks the next coaster will be wooden. As long as it's a good coaster I wouldn't complain. I took a trip to Virginia this summer and went to BGW and Kings Dominion. After riding their coasters I think Carowinds is lacking in two categories and its obvious to everyone (Wooden and Launch). I liked InvadR and Grizzly and when I went to Dollywood the other year I liked the wooden coaster (Can't remember the name) there. However, I LOVE launch coasters and think they stand out and are more memorable than wooden coasters (Just my opinion). So when/if Carowinds gets a launch; which type of launch would you want. I REALLY liked Verbolten but I seriously doubt Carowinds would get one like that. Since Kings Dominion is also owned by Cedar fair do you think they will give Carowinds a launch like one of the ones there? Unfortunately I didn't get to ride Volcano because it was down the whole day! I have heard it's down a lot so maybe that wouldn't be a good one. I really liked Flight of Fear and Backlot Stunt Coaster. So how possible is it that carowinds would get one of these and would you want one like these, or would you want another type of launch?
