How likely do you think we could get a Lightning Rod type coaster?

If you mean by having a wooden coaster built into the terrain that travels through the woods, then very unlikely as its nearly impossible. But if you mean a launched wooden coaster then its very likely, as anything else mentioned here for 2019. How many times have cedar fair been back to mondial after the windseeker fiascos? Besides, RMC didn't design, build or installed the launch.

Yeah I just meant it being a wooden launch. Killing two birds with one stone. I know the layout wouldn't be similar.

Lets fix some of that. Build the woodie, then plant a HUGE NUMBER of fast growing trees around it. There are many trees that reach a height of 30 ft or more in just 3 years time. Obviously not a quick fix but as the trees grew, it would take on different characteristics every year and within 5 years or so, could be a nice coaster through the trees.... especially if the layout had some low to the ground elements.

Why build it on the Dinosaurs Alive location when you have a huge piece of land that is now available for a new coaster where Thunder Roads station, Sand Dune Lagoon and WWF was located?

It'd be dumb not to put the next coaster, whenever it comes, in that plot of land. Crossroads is an eyesore and needs something to revitalize it. (Not counting Afterburn since it's more or less a part of the RFD and does not require walking through Crossroads.) In the same way that Fury breathed life into Thrill Zone, so I also hope the next coaster will do to Crossroads.

Is Kings Dominion proof? God I hope not. I'd prefer to have our next coaster before 2023, given how long they had to wait for another one after their giga.
