~RollerBee, who has no clue.....
However I can say without a doubt that Holiday World isn’t selling us Thunderbird.
I doubt we are getting a Wing, I also doubt we are getting a B&M....

So I suspect your picture is a vague clue if you do have a clue.

I suspect you stop while you're ahead cause this aint what you want . . .

Nothing I have typed about this project has been conflicting. It's strategic. Sorry if you can't see pass an image and see the meaning behind it. It's ok. For the last few projects I got the same flack from people from people who really have no clue. Is it jealousy? Perhaps. I don't go around gloating I know something. I take what I hear and again, try to have some fun with it. Instead of trying to discredit me, you should be trying to see how it all ties together . . . have some fun.

The Gullah people of the coast have an interesting culture to draw from. Boo Hags in particular were evil spirits known for stealing their victims’ breath and energy, which might lend itself to a roller coaster. “Boo Hag” would be a terrible name for a coaster though.

It still sounds like slavery to me, or maybe I'm just too invested.

I personally enjoy thinking about the clues you bring to table. I love a good puzzle.

Also like some of the names people are tossing around.

All in all, just gonna sit back and enjoy the ride

Thank you! I love it all, no matter how outlandish it is. I get a kick out of reading EVERYONE'S analogies, theories, speculations and reasoning. Anything I can share, without risking someone's job, i'm all for it. I wish some would not be so critical.

(I know the park loves it . . .  )

Such a vague clue....
That rules out:

A wooden coaster
A launch coaster
A floor less coaster
A log flume.....

So it must be a WATER PARK EXPANSION!!!!!.....Oh no not another darn gross waterpark expansion when are they ever going to get a new coaster. :sarcasm:

/Sarcasm....
If Carowinds ever gets what I want, everyone on Carowinds Connection except me will whine, complain and the park will go bankrupt.....

lol Carowinds is not getting an Adult Theater

Whatever it is we end up with for 2019 I just want it to have something that adds an unexpected or mystery element to the ride. Almost every coaster Carowinds has you can pretty much see it in its entirety. Even if its a structure, rock formation something for it to pass through to add to it.

Ignoring the condescending tone, I was not actively trying to discredit you. I don’t deny that you have sources. However, when you post pictures of a dive machine, a coaster with an underground tunnel, a single rail coaster, a launched wing coaster and hint at three different manufacturers, the end result is that people will assume you are purposely trying to mislead them, and from that point the easy option is to simply ignore the hints. So it’s probably my fault for even mentioning it in the thread. But at this point I’m about to steer the conversation off topic, so if you want to continue this then PM me.

Anyways I’ll “have some fun” and try to guess your strategy. You seem to be placing emphasis on the number 2 with your post “1-1+1x2=2019” post, the picture with the double pupiled-eye and a PM with the word “twice” in bold. What that means, I don’t know. Maybe it’s some sort of dueling coaster? Racing coaster? Guess I’m just not cool enough to be in the “loop”.

or Carowinds is adding 2 rides in 2019. Permit shows Southside Construction is again doing the work as they did for Fury and Carolina Harbor. Not that that means anything.

I'm very late to the party here but I wanted to make mention of the restroom behind Blackbeard's Revenge, and share a few opinions.

If the park were to remove that restroom, due to certain laws and regulations on Public Restrooms, the park would have to build a new restroom pretty much in the same exact spot as the pre-existing one. Example: the Camp Snoopy restroom. Same spot, just different orientation. It has something to do with walking distance between public restrooms. I would also assume that it's just a smart decision when considering budgets. Same spot means no added cost in sewage control. I'm sure each state is slightly different in their laws, but in general, this is the case. So if that restroom were to be demolished, expect a new one either close-to, or in the same spot as the existing one.

Also, someone mentioned the Winterfest warehouse (previously the Scarowinds warehouse). Now that warehouse is solely used for Winterfest, so I would expect a new warehouse to be built somewhere for the Scarowinds stuff. However, it would be nice to be inside the park somewhere. I'd hate for the decorators and builders to have to constantly leave the park, get what they need, and re-enter the park. Heck, even the placement of the Winterfest warehouse made it hard to decorate sometimes since it was in the back of the park. Having to push 400 pound carts of Christmas decor from there all the way to North gate was a challenge  . So I would hope that if a new warehouse is being built, that it's inside the park boundaries somewhere, and NOT outside the park.

More than likely, the construction going on next to the road will be an extension of the parking lot. Could be something else entirely. But if the park wanted to make the parking lot bigger, they have room to do so. Not a lot of room, but enough.

Someone also mentioned the maintenance road that is where Thunder Road's turnaround was. Even though it was re-paved during the Water Park Expansion, that doesn't mean that they wouldn't be willing to re-route it

The only issue I have with this is. . . that restroom/changing facility was built for that lagoon. If it were built for the purpose walking distance, it should have the "go ahead" due to it being nothing right there to get to . . .

That is indeed true.
They could get rid of it entirely (I forgot that the changing rooms had bathrooms  )
My bad
