lol Carowinds is not getting an Adult Theater.

You must not know me very well, I said everyone except me will whine, complain not me included. Think Snoopy’s Junction but with about 3-4 times the track and a smaller scale....better yet I will show you mine.
It is a work in progress. Private railroad, no public rides.

Ahhh, at long last we have reached 2014 Fury-thread levels of insanity :-D

The next four months are gonna be great!

For some ODD reason, I keep going back to 1977. The underground..opps, I meant the underdog year. Only two, I mean time will tell. Woodstock was a good time in the 70’s, wonder why it wasn’t called STEELstock.? Guess everyone likes wood.. :shifty:

Seriously though, I love the hints, whether they're accurate or not. It's fun and I'm sure the park loves it when enthusiasts goes mad over every little thing. It shows that we're invested in what they're doing and our hype will likely extend to those around us too. It's a win-win for everybody really.

1977 was White Lightning, I think someone has been sipping on the White Lightning again.

Better shoot the gap at Cumberland and escape the law....
Sad to say that the devil will get you first.
Try not rollover....
Or else you will be doing loops.

All the Ghosts of Charleston are not directly tied to slavery (not that there couldn't be one or two stories related) unless you're talking about the slave museum or of plantations. Most of the ghost stories there are in the houses downtown. Same for the Ghosts of Savannah. Or even Boston for that matter. Just because it's a reference to old-times and it's in a historic southern city doesn't automatically mean its related to slavery. Why does everything have to go there?

Regardless, I like the ghost themed idea.. not that any of our posts will matter... I'm sure the name, location, and even the theming has long since been decided, vetted and probably already under construction somewhere.

Okay this is my first post on the forum since the Fury days, but I just wanted to quickly throw in my guess as to what we are getting in 2019, because an interesting yet wild theory popped into my head.

Based on what (little) we actually know plus the 'clues' that people have been spewing, I have a wild guess that this could be GCI woodie in similar fashion to Hades 360 at Mt. Olympus for its wooden track and steel support s and its cool under-the-parking lot segment that carries the track outside the park into a few elements then returns back inside the park via the tunnel. Could what we are getting do this under the parking lot by the water park entrance and pop up on the newly cleared plot of land between the lot and the main road? IDK, but I think that would be absolutely amazing.

Feel free to shoot that one down if it is ridiculous and not happening. If it could incorporate a launch somehow that would be icing on the cake if installed by a reliable manufacturer, but again, pipe dream.

Anyways, good to be back, have been reading on silently for awhile now and thought I'd briefly pipe back up.

Rosko97 I like your idea, because it has that element of surprise that we don't see on the other coasters in the park, since you can see almost the whole entire track for all the other coasters.

Love this idea but let me put some more pipe dreams out there to expand this idea.....launch coaster that starts 20' underground goes under parking lot to cleared off area where it proceeds to go up to a height of 480' surpassing Kinda Ka and then the drop would be at 430' with a return into the station similar to the return on Kinda Ka that goes over the parking lot....to reach that height speed would need to be at about 136....surpassing Kinda Ka but not Formula Rossa (149.1). I know dreaming but that's what this is about ....right?
