Someone else may have mentioned this earlier, but I think some people are reading way too much into "record breaking" and "history making".
For starters, the term 'history making' is pretty subjective. One could argue that every addition to every park in the world has been history making in one form or another. It could just be history as in "Carowinds 13th coaster!" or making history by adding the park's first hyper.
As for record breaking... its important to remember that the teaser doesn't say World record breaking, or even U.S. record breaking. It could just be the tallest and fastest coaster at Carowinds (much like DB was Kings Island's tallest and fastest coaster) and that would be record breaking... breaking Carowinds' records.
If I had to bet money on it, I'd guess that 'tallest and fastest coaster at Carowinds' is the record/s this coaster breaks.
Not that getting just another B&M hyper isn't fantastic. Apollo's Chariot was great and Diamondback is off the charts. Here's hoping this one features the new longer B&M trains with the V-seating arrangement. Those trains are incredible.
