Turns out that what was spotted across the street from the park is unrelated to the 3020 project, which most likely will be an intamin giga.

It makes sense since B&M won't build above 230 ft. & the ride will possibly be over 300 ft. with a cable lift similar to MF's.

Those supports aren't coming to Carowinds. My guess is they're going to Cedar Point. Also, why would that be bad? Remember... it's supposedly supports for a giga.

^I think it's only supposed to be a Giga in KDCoasterFan's eyes when the supports are meant for his park, LOL.

I would think we are supposed to be talking about the supports over here because it sure doesn't look like the columns are coming to carowinds! I also hope they don't. They're puny.

What in the world is that? I admittedly have not kept up with the coaster industry over the last couple of years as much as I did in the past, but I can't think of anything off the top of my head that looks like that with the double spine.

Check out the following link: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/vi ... 89f7c14512 . Look at the third picture down. That's for a roller coaster at Ferrari World in the United Arab Emirates. (the world's fastest). Obviously the KD one won't be near the world's fastest (I don't think), but it is definitely very interesting.

Here's a 9:53 YouTube video (uploaded just 4 hours ago) of the track being unloaded from a shipping container. The guy is taping from within feet of the cranes. Then at the 7:44 mark in the video, he tapes from the Eiffel Tower showing a nice perspective of where everything is now and will be.
