When I first saw Levitation announced for CW I was not overly impressed. A big coaster yes but it looked too similar to Behemoth. But after reading Jonathan's great park and ride review I totally got the difference in the ride experience. Levitation made sense as a companion to Behemoth. Now we get Levitation's BIGGER, faster, longer brother only 20 minutes from my house. This is a great day for this area and the park! Come on 2015.

I was very impressed all the way around this morning. First of all, great to meet several of you for the first time. Jay, Jarvis, Ken, Derek to name a few of several. Carowinds did a great job with everything. I was pretty much expecting the Fury 325 but was really shocked on the 6600' feet. Loving everything about these new additions. Not happy to see the Plantation House go but I do understand why.

I think the length is really the thing that is shocking about it. I think a lot of people (myself included) expected a ride very similar to Leviathan except slightly longer because it wouldn't have to hop over the Arrow looper at the end. Instead we get something that is significantly longer.

I want Cedar fair to just flat out say carowinds will be awesome and not a small park... because I was on Skype with my friends they live by kings dominion (fanboys) and they said carowinds was not a good park abd didn't deserve fury so I said some not so nice stuff about kings dominion and hanged up... lol

One of my favorite images. But notice how the new parking area will be one connected lot with a much smoother flow as it wraps around towards Intimidator. I really like this design. It would be nice to reinstate trams for us old fogies, or at least design it so the possibility of adding them would be easier. I haven't been able to pinpoint the drop-off area for guests.

They said the bridge over the old train tracks (after you enter the park) will be demolished and that will be much wider and level. That is not indicated on the video flyover, but was told it is still in the designing phase.

Simply put, we will hardly recognize the Carowinds entry plaza as we know it today. Amazing changes! Great stuff.

Just took a 3 second trip over there to see what they think and I think I came back with brain cancer. Nothing like Alvey and his B&M Hate train! I think B&M could build a copy of I305 and get called boring by them

TPR - I've never visited that site that I know of. But I do recognize that name from youtube POV vids. Is that the guy that goes "weeeeeee" Twisty, loopdie LOOOOP"...? if he thinks this looks boring he's CRAZY!!!
